Sitting Cat Lightweight Three-Dimensional Silver Brooch | 1970s
A portrait of a calm (but rather hefty-looking) cat in sterling silver to grace your lighter clothing. This brooch has been crafted using a seamless hollow-cast method, so while still substantial (weighing in at just over seven grams) it is deceptively light for its size. This casting method has created a smooth high-sheen finish and a somewhat three-dimensional effect. We believe that this brooch dates to the 1970s, and it carries a 925 Standard Mark on the rear behind the roll-over clasp.
Approximate Dimensions: 5cm x 2cm (at the longest/widest point)
Condition Report: In excellent vintage condition, with some very faint surface marks as would be expected with silver of this age. The silver has been cleaned and polished by us to a fine bright finish, but please remember that, as a soft metal, silver is always liable to show some slight marks and fine scratches from handling when inspected closely, even when brand new.
