Description
‘Tom Tom’ – Cat & Butterfly | Oil on Board | 1982
This is a small and thoroughly charming oil on board in an honest, simple style. We see Tom Tom, a black cat with a flash of white on the very tip of his tail, distracted by a fluttering butterfly as he makes his patrol of a meadow in full summer bloom. This piece was painted in July 1982 and bears the artist’s initials G.N.A. on the reverse. It sits in its original rustic hand-made wooden frame, complete with a well-aged eyelet loop for hanging.
We have lightly cleaned this picture and frame and replaced the old sealing tape on the rear with a new (but visually identical) tape. It is otherwise in fully original condition and is ready to hang or give as a gift.
As with all original art from Thrilled Kitty, this piece is guaranteed to be an original work and not a copy, print, or reproduction.
