‘Catty’ Pins (Gift-boxed group of three) | Vintage Dutch 1960s Enamel

We love these pins! They have such fantastic detail and character, nicely cast in brass and inset with bold enamel.

They were made in the Netherlands in the 1960s as advertising pieces. The brand they refer to is long gone now, but these survivors have a retro charm that goes far beyond the original meaning. Wear one to show that you are a ‘catty’ person – whether that refers to your love of cats or your attitude is entirely up to you…

They are secured with a simple long pin and could be used as a hat pin, lapel pin, handbag/rucksack decoration or just for display. If you are wearing one on clothing you might want to use a pin protector of your choice (not included) to cover the tip, as they are rather sharp.

This group of three comes in one of our luxury black gift boxes to make a gloriously quirky present, ready to give. The set has one red pin, one blue and one black, each with a different thumbnail-sized cat character.
