‘Cat with Scarf’ by Maggie Burley | Limited Edition Etching

A humorous aquatint etching from well-known animal artist Maggie Burley, limited to an edition of 100. How this tuxedo cat came to be wrapped up in a Tom Baker-esque Dr Who scarf is a question that cannot be answered here; he does, however, seem quite pleased with himself.

Condition Report: This contemporary etching is in very good clean and unmarked condition. Strong impression and plate mark. There is a degree of cockling in the centre of the image which has occurred during the printing and drying process so the sheet does not sit entirely flat in the mount: a slight ‘wave’ can be seen in the middle of the image if viewed from some angles, but the print will still display well.
